It seems that VAT is being collected more strictly in relation to packages shipped to Europe.
When shopping on huge platforms, VAT is also automatically added to the purchase and payment is required, but sole traders like us are not able to pay the collected VAT to the tax authorities in the respective countries.
Therefore, we do not collect VAT on handmade rubber stamps and washi tapes shipped from Japan (VAT is automatically collected on print on demand items).
Depending on the country you live in, you may be required to pay VAT with the delivery of the goods.
This is a tax that will have to be paid from 2022 due to the tightening of collection as mentioned at the beginning of this section.
If you refuse to receive the goods without knowing this, the goods will be sent back to Japan after their storage period has expired.

Please note that you will be charged a shipping fee to re-send the goods back to Japan again.
Please note that if your purchase is cancelled, you will only be refunded the price of the product, excluding delivery charges.
Please note that the cancellation does not apply to rubber stamps that have been made to order.
