Sakura blossoms!

Posted by nicoJapaneseRubberStamps on

The cherry blossom season is here again this year.
This year's cherry blossoms started blooming very early and fell quickly due to the continuous rain.
However, did you know that there are beautiful late-blooming cherry trees in Japan?

They are called 'Yaezaki sakura' and are characterised by their bright, deep pink colour and the fact that they bloom in bunches.

In the early hours of the morning, the sky was very blue and the contrast between blue and pink was very beautiful.
I was able to take a lot of photos.

These cherry blossoms are also good to see until mid-April and have now all fallen.

If you come to Japan during the cherry blossom season, we recommend that you come in early April.
